We just had ahava spillman speak at our couples event (on short notice), she was terrific! I had never heard her before and tried her out. I must tell you she was everything I had hoped she would be. She connects very well with people and has a strong message. I highly recommend her.

I just wanted to let you all know about a fantastic speaker. ahava spillman joined us last week for our yearly Women's Circle event. This was the first time I did spa for the soul which B"H went over so well. I have received many thank you notes and e-mails thanking me for putting together this event as well as letting me know what a great time they had.

Everybody there loved ahava. She is warm, friendly, engaging and connected beautifully with the crowd. I'm still hearing this week how ladies were touched by her and just loved her.

It's rare that I bring out a speaker and hear absolutely no criticism.

Feel free to e-mail me privately if you need more info. I highly recommend her. She was perfect for the day.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the kinus.

- Mrs. Devorah L. Mangel, Dayton, OH

It was nice to be on the other side for a change when Ahava Spielman came to London Ontario last night to speak for our Shull; it gave me the opportunity to listen to an engaging and inspirational speaker. I understand that she has a number of interesting topics; we asked her to tell stories. This is the third time that she has spoken to our community and she was highly successful. Again!

She has an informal manner that draws her audience in and engages them on a personal level. Her stories are down to earth and inspirational; a successful blend of Chassidisher stories and contemporary tales. Each story has a lesson and the stories are woven seamlessly to create a masterful talk.

In short; I recommend her to you because she deserves this recommendation.

- Rabbi Lazer Gurkow, London, Ontario

We have recently had Ahava in Johannesburg to speak for our women's programs and the participants really enjoyed her. She is warm, personable and the audience felt that they could relate very well to her. Many of them said they could listen to her for hours on end.

Garments of the Body; Garments of the Soul
- Perfect for a women’s event, Spa Day, Health and Wellness Fair or Fashion Show.
Ahava begins in a fitting room where women are most honest with themselves and connects physical accessories to thoughts speech and action.  Just like clothes can be altered by a seamstress, women have the ability to control the garments of their souls.

Changes: Anyone can do it - A motivational speech that promotes positive changes in thought and attitude.
Using Chassidic stories and personal experiences, Ahava promotes the importance of “c, h, a, n, g, e, s” Chessed, Humility, Attitude, Names, Goals, Engagement and Simcha.  It’s an all around upbeat, entertaining and didactic presentation.

Body and Soul: a beautiful combination - An introduction to our schizophrenic existence.
One part of us yearns to study Torah and do mitzvos while the other part of us wants chocolate cake and parties.  How do we reconcile these opposing forces?  This lecture explains the body's purpose of housing the soul and the soul's desire to return to its origins.  Is it possible to find a happy medium and keep all parts of us happy?   Welcome to the dilemma of the contemporary Orthodox Jewish Woman.

The Garden of Tshuva
The world of gardening is an analogy to the spiritual. Land requires cultivation, planting, and watering in order to bring forth human sustenance. The inner Garden within each of us must be nurtured, and protected. We must weed out the influences in our lives that sap our energy and stunt our own growth. We must let Torah fertilize our minds so that we might revive ourselves and experience a renewed vitality. It's possible when we occupy ourslves with mitzvahs. We elevate food by making a bracha on it, we elevate our business by giving tzedaka, we elevate Friday night by making it Shabbos!

How to Make a Good Marriage Better – For couples and a mixed crowd.   An enthusiastic and passionate presentation, discussing ways to enhance any   marriage.  Using Torah as well as her expertise in Interpersonal Communication,   Ahava highlights major differences in the way men and women relate to each other.  Using humour and inviting participation, she provides practical     suggestions that stimulate thought and motivate couples to improve their   relationships.

Shavuot and the Ten Commandments of a Good Marriage – for women only.
G-d is the Chasson, the Jews are the Kallah, Mount Sinai is the Chupa and Torah is the marriage contract.  Judiasm is full of new beginnings, new starts, new chances. Each day we say Modeh Ani, each week we observe Shabbos, each month we celebrate Rosh Chodesh, every Rosh Hashanah, every Yom Kippur Hashem forgives us over and over again and gives us new opportunities to redeem ourselves.  We were created in His image so our obligation to our husbands is to forgive them and offer them a second chance.

How to Handle Stress….. the Jewish Way
We all must learn how to manage stress.  Vitamins, fruits and vegetables and exercise are certainly important, but what does Torah say about stress?  Why is it important to have a healthy body?   Jewish Law, customs and passages can be interpreted to give fresh insight that helps create a less stressful lifestyle.

The Matriarchs.  Role Models we can learn from.
Get a high speed, high energy, fast food, (but healthier) intake of the action packed dramatic passionate lives of our Matriarchs; Sarah, Rochel, Leah and Rivka.  Modern day heroines and famous movie actresses aspire to be as interesting as these superwomen.

Adar and Purim.  Purim is the most joyous holiday of all
In Adar we must increase in joy each day.  Purim’s joy is so intense that it permeates the whole month and consequently the whole year.  We must use this simcha to experience the miracles all around us and see that Hashem is in charge of every detail.  This is a wonderful talk lauding the power of true happiness.

Is there more to Pesach than Maneshewitz?
A discussion of the major themes of Pesach:   the spiritual significance of Matzo, the challenges of a personal “mitzrayim, how to stay calm in a world of “Chometz”     Perfect  for  a pre Pesach get together to get in the mood for liberation.
